Jeri Burns Olsen

Hi All! Since my graduation in 1968 from East, I have been working on our Class Reunions starting with our 10th in 1978. In 1998, Central joined us to celebrate our 20th Reunion. Then we had our 25th Reunion in 2003 and St. Mary's came aboard, so we have been enjoying our 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, 50th and 55th with all three schools ever since! It has been amazing working on the committee for all these fabulous reunions and I have loved every minute of it. Our 60th, of course, is in the works!

I have enjoyed browsing through your Class of 71 website and I do recognize many of you!

I don't really have any stories from high school that are of interest. I didn't stand out! My best friends were Shari Rhodes, Nancy Strasheim and Barb Matthews. I was an alternate cheerleader, but big whoopie! I did go on the Senior Exchange Trip to Seattle, WA and that was a blast. Then the students from Seattle came to Cheyenne for a week and the first night here we took them to Shamrock. I got home past my curfew and was grounded the rest of the week and couldn't attend any other function that was set up for the exchange students. That pretty much sucked!
