I would be known to everyone as Jill. After years of struggling with my name I legally changed it to Jillian. It better suits my creative personality.
Since leaving Cheyenne is 1970 I finished high school in Knob Noster, Missouri. My father was station there at Whiteman AFB. At 19 I married a local boy and worked on a happily ever after. During our almost 3 years of marriage I lost 6 babies. Of course that took a toll of my marriage. After that I focused on school and a career. Eventually I got a Bachelors in Public Relations and went on to get a Masters Degree.
Life has its twists and turns and I've had the opportunity to do a lot of interesting things. I've travelled to Guatemala four times to study. I also travelled to the Philippines for work. Work has taken me around the country from San Francisco to New York City and in between. Now I am retired. Unfortunately retirement was something that happened a bit faster than I expected as I was diagnoses with Parkinson's disease in 2018. While I don't work I have become an avid quilt designer and quilt maker focusing on modern quilts.
